KindlyKept personally looks after a loved one’s memorial throughout the year. We work within each cemetery’s rules, place a tribute where permitted, and send you a Care Report after every visit.

We’re accepting requests from a small number of families right now.

The Care Report

Every visit,
shown and explained.

After each visit, you receive dated photographs and a written note on the memorial’s condition, the care provided, and anything we think you should know.

The before and after photographs are taken from the same place, so you can compare the memorial’s condition. Additional photographs show the finished tribute.

It’s yours to keep, and to share with family.

How it works

A careful process,
handled for you.

Start with what you know about the memorial. We’ll confirm what is possible before anything is agreed.

01

Locating the memorial

Tell us the cemetery and whatever you remember about the memorial’s location. We’ll help check cemetery records at no charge. If we confirm the location, we’ll share it even if we can’t offer care.

02

Confirming the restrictions

Every cemetery has its own rules for memorial cleaning and tributes. We review them and confirm what is possible before anything is agreed or paid.

03

Preparing the tribute

We show you the tribute options that suit both the cemetery and the memorial, and you choose the one that feels right. We handle the arrangement and assign its mounting from the verified memorial and cemetery information.

04

Assessing the memorial

Before cleaning, we inspect the stone for cracks, instability, flaking or other signs of fragility. If there is a concern, we leave it untouched, explain what we found and direct you to the cemetery or a qualified monument professional.

05

Completing the visit

Where cleaning is appropriate, we clear loose debris and work by hand with water, soft natural or nylon brushes, and methods suited to the material. Never power washing, metal brushes or power tools.

We place the permitted tribute and leave the area in order.

06

Delivering the Care Report

After the visit, we prepare and email your Care Report.

KindlyKept Memorial Care is based in Norwalk, CT, and run by its founder, Zack Bartolo.

It began with a simple belief: caring for someone’s resting place is one of the ways we keep their memory. Our own family’s memorials are where we begin.

Every visit is made by us, by hand, and only at cemeteries where we’ve confirmed the care is allowed.
